Shuuro at Salute 2009
Try Shuuro at Salute 2009 in London Excel Centre on Saturday the 28th of March. Alessio will be at the Wargames Inc. stand.
Salute is the largest wargaming event in the UK. For a day, thousands of enthusiastic gamers converge from all over the UK (and the rest of the world!) to the spectacular ExCel complex in central London, where they meet to exchange tall tales, gaming ideas, drink, shop and try out games of all sorts.
The event is mostly focussed around historical wargaming, and is a great occasion to grab a few excellent miniatures, like the ones produced by Perry Miniatures and Shining Toy Soldiers, for example.
Historical wargames, however, are not all that you're going to find at Salute - you can also enjoy role playing, re-enactment, boardgames and, of course, Shuuro.
ExCeL London is located in the Docklands area to the east of the centre, just a 10 minute drive from Tower Bridge and a 25 minute drive from Junction 30 on the M25. The venue is also easily reached from Central London via the Limehouse Link and via the M25, A13, M11, A406 (North Circular), the Blackwall Tunnel and Rotherhithe Tunnel from other parts of the country.
